INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE TRAINING

The students of BSc Catering and Hotel Administration are required to undergo an internship during the 6th semester in a 3-star or above hotel as a part of the curriculum requirement to get practical exposure and experience the real work environment in all the major operational areas. At the end of the training, the students are required to prepare and submit a training report for the 6th semester viva-voce examination. Other UG and Diploma courses have 150 days of internship, including the internship during the 6th semester, whereas the Craft course has an internship for a period of three months after the course..

The internship is aimed at not only enhancing knowledge and skills but also gaining confidence in handling guests with different needs and moods.

AGE LIMIT

The Minimum age limit for getting admission is 15 years & maximum age limit is per norms.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Students meeting criteria of age and qualification will be considered for admission on ‘first come first’ basis as per availability of seats per course.
